BAFTA and EMMY-winning PRODUCER & WRITER
Adam Redfern
Scripts | Development | Showrunning

Hey there!
I'm an award-winning creative with over 20 years experience in kids' TV and I've just relocated from UK to Canada with my amazing family. Vancouver is our new home!
I've exec-produced preschool slates winning successful commissions, showrun award-winning CG series, head-written across 2D and CG and I regularly write episodes for up and running shows on Netflix, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr, BBC and more.
I also create and pitch my own original shows, with two currently under option with global studios.
As an EP / Showrunner I thrive on working with talented and diverse artists through the entire series pipeline to make the best TV for kids. I love teams that bring new ideas and curveballs to the table and keep me on my toes, while guiding all those creative fireworks to hit budget and schedule bang on target.

I've worked with Adam for several years - collaborating on both existing and brand new properties.
Adam is whip-smart and armed with brilliant ideas for every kind of script, pitch deck and show bible.
A quick thinker who 'pluses' any half-decent thought or idea, he brings great energy to creative brainstorms. He can also consume pastries bigger than his head. In under 12 parsecs!
A rare talent, indeed.
Rich Thomas
Creative Director, Writer and Consultant
Adam works well in the writers room and always comes up with innovative ideas for stories. He deals well with the broadcasters notes and sees the job through to the end!
Simon Quinn, Producer
The Adventures of Paddington
Adam was a terrific writer and a pleasure to work with on Season One of Sammy & Raj.
He always came to the table with fresh ideas, took network notes in his stride, and elevated each draft with his balance of comedy and heart.
I think he'd be a wonderful addition to your team.
